U-14 HURLING: We witnessed a fantastic game of hurling on Monday June 3rd in Hospital, where we played our hosts in a must win game for both sides. A fairly even 1st half saw Hospital-Herbertstown take a 2 point lead in to half time, Caherline 1-1, Hospital-Herbertstown 1-3. The second half was just as tight, with Caherline down by a point with 2 mins to go, but the boys dug deep and took the win by a single point, 1-07 to 2-03. U-12 HURLING: A really tough game in Fr. Hayes park last Thursday night – Caherline came up against a strong and skillful Kildimo Pallaskenry side, but stuck to their task and kept picking of some lovely scores. Kildimo never gave up though and pulled it back to within 2 points late in the game, but Caherline were not finished and scored a great goal near the death to win by 5 points. Well done all.
