County U17 Championship
Fr. Caseys 3-16 Kildimo / Pallaskenry 0-06
Last Saturday morning our U17 Footballers recorded a very comprehensive 3-16 to 0-06 victory away to Kildimo / Pallaskenry to make it three wins from four games and guarantee themselves a place in the County Semi-Final. Well done to all involved and we wish them the best of luck against Monaleen in their final group game next Wednesday in Abbeyfeale.
U21 Championship Announced
The fixtures for the 2021 U21 County Football Championship were announced in the past week with Fr. Caseys paired in Group 2 with St, Kierans, Na Piarsaigh and Monaleen. The top two from this group of four will qualify for the county semi-finals where they will meet the qualifiers from the opposing group which consist of Newcastle West, Cappagh/Rathkeale, Mungret and Galbally. The first group games are on the weekend of November 5th and will run each weekend thereafter. The county semi-final are set for November 27th with the final fixed for December 5th.
Club Limerick Draw
The next Club Limerick Draw takes place on Saturday September 25th with another jackpot prize of €10,000, an Exclusive Star Prize and a host of cash prizes up for grabs. This will be the seventh of ten monthly draws which will run until December.
The Club Limerick Draw is one of our main fundraisers with 50% of the entrant fee returned to our local club. We strongly urge all club members to support this vital fundraiser and hopefully claim some of the wonderful prizes on offer. The cost of entry is €10 per draw. You can still sign up online via the new Club Limerick website @ www.clublimerick.ie, remembering to select Fr. Caseys as the nominated club during the process.
Wedding Bells
Fr. Caseys GAA Club would like to congratulate John Riordan & Ailish McCarthy who were married last Friday. We wish them both health and happiness in their future life together. From underage to Senior and County level, John has always excelled for the club. Ailish is also a great supporter of the club and like her husband comes from a strong GAA household
Club Lotto
Fr. Casey’s GAA Lotto Draw continues each week with the Jackpot as of September 13th standing at €18,800 and rising by €200 each week not won. Since its launch our new Lotto has been a great success and we are extremely grateful to all our supporters both near and far for their generosity.
How do you play? Simply select three numbers from 1 to 30 and one bonus number from 1 to 10. If all four chosen numbers appear the jackpot will be won or shared. A match three prize of €500 is also on offer and applies to the 1 to 30 number selection not including the bonus ball. As an additional bonus we have 4 lucky dips prizes totalling €150 selected each week. The draw will run on a weekly basis, each Monday night (Tuesday on Bank Holidays) at 9pm sharp. All ticket sales must be completed prior to 8pm will the draw results shared from 9pm on our Club Facebook Page.
Where can you buy a ticket? Tickets cost €2.50 and are available in a host of local shops including Moss Harnett’s Spar, An Siopa Milseán, Kathleens Foodstore, Sheehy’s Hardware, Danny Scanlon’s & Lanes Foodstore. You can also play Online @ https://www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/FrCaseys/Lotto with the option of reoccurring draws, yearly tickets and Quick Pick function available.
