Fr. Caseys Vs Drom/Broadford – Tuesday April 26th in Dromcolliher at 7.00pm
Limerick GAA
Fr. Caseys GAA Club wish the Limerick Senior Footballers especially our own Adrian Enright the very best of luck this Saturday evening when they take on Clare in the Munster Championship Quarter Final. This game will be placed in Cusack Park Ennis with a 6pm throw in. Limerick enter the game on a high after gaining promotion to Division 2 next season but will face a stern test against a strong home side who will start the game as the bookies favourites.
Well done to the County Minor Footballers who resurrected their Munster Championship last Thursday evening when they defeated Clare by 2-08 to 0-09 in Mick Neville Park. This was a great response after a heavy defeat to Tipperary in round 1. Next Thursday night they travel to Lemybrien to play Waterford in round 3 with another win paramount to stay in the competition. We are honoured to have Michael Kilbridge, Cian Harnett, Calum Boyle and Adam O’Shea involved in this team.
Unfortunately on Easter Monday the County U20 Footballers exited their championship in Ballyagran suffering a heavy defeat to Cork in the Munster Semi-Final. Many thanks to Shane O’Connell and Sean Kilbridge who gave great representation to the club with this team.
Finally the Limerick Senior Hurlers once more gave another fantastic display on Saturday with a 0-30 to 2-21 victory over Waterford in the Gaelic Grounds. They now earn a well-deserved break this weekend which hopefully gives them time to heal the numerous injuries. On Sunday May 8th they will return to take on Tipperary at home before playing Clare away in their final group game on May 15th. Fingers crossed John Kielys men can keep producing this amazing form.
