East Junior A Football League
Our Junior A Footballers played Kncockane on Sunday evening in Knockane and after a mammoth effort from the lads that saw Tristan O’Sullivan score two lovely goals we came away with the win. Full time Ahane 2-11 Knockane 1-12.
City East Junior A Hurling League
Another great win for our Junior A hurlers as they came out on the right side of the result against Mungret St Pauls. Full time score Ahane 3-16 Mungret St Pauls 2-16.
Féile
Our U15 hurlers faced Monaleen in the semi-final of Féile A on Easter Monday. Ahane won and went on to face Na Piarsaigh in the final. After a very competitive game Ahane came out on top!
U14 County Hurling
The Limerick U14 hurlers travelled to Dr Morris Park on Saturday to play against Tipperary and Clare. Well done to the mentors and players who included Ronan Butler from Ahane.
U9 Football
Our U9 Footballers had their first blitz of the season on Friday. Ahane hosted Na Piarsaigh in Mackey Park. The matches were competitive with great skills and teamwork on show. Well done to all the boys and girls and their coaches.
U13 Football
Our U13’s travelled to Hospital for their first championship game of the year. On a glorious evening for football Ahane came away with the win. Great skills and teamwork on show. Well done to the boys and their coaches. Many thanks to the parents and family who were in attendance to support the boys!
Condolences
On behalf of the club we send our condolences to Mags, Jim, Shane, Aaron and Caoimhe Hackett on the sad passing of Mag’s dad Sean. Our thoughts are with all Sean’s family at this sad time.
