Limerick GAA
Congratulations to the Limerick Senior Hurlers who won a titanic battle in Thurles against Clare last Sunday to claim the Munster title for the fourth year in a row. Level after 70 minutes, it took another 20 minute to separate the teams with Limerick emerging 1-29 to 0-29 winners in the end. Limerick now progress to the All-Ireland Semi-Final on Sunday July 3rd.
This coming Sunday our county Footballers return to championship action when they take on a Cork in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The throw in for this game will be 1.30pm with the match being broadcast on RTÉ. A place in the All-Ireland Quarter-Finals against a Provincial winner is up for grabs. We wish Adrian Enright and all the Limerick team the very best of luck as they look to return to form after a disappointing Munster Final display.
Well Done Abbeyfeale Utd
Congratulations to the Abbeyfeale Utd soccer team who claimed the Desmond Cup last Friday night with a 2-0 victory over Newcastle West. This concludes a great season where they also claimed the League title. We had a large number of our Senior & Intermediate team involved and we hope this winning running continues into the upcoming GAA championship.
Club Lotto Results – May 31st
Fr. Casey’s Club Lotto continued on Tuesday May 31st with a Jackpot of €19,000 up for grabs. The numbers drawn were 6, 17 & 20 with the bonus ball 2. There was no Jackpot winner but we did have a Match 3 winner claiming €500. The Jackpot now increases to €19,200.

How do you play? Simply select three numbers from 1 to 30 and one bonus number from 1 to 10. If all four chosen numbers appear the jackpot will be won or shared. Club Limerick Draw The Club Limerick Draw continues on Saturday June 25th, the fourth of ten monthly draws, with another prize fund of €21,000 up for grabs. This includes a €10,000 monthly jackpot prize, 28 other cash prizes and an exclusive star prize. For the June draw the star prize is a fantastic Summer BBQ Set sponsored by Tadgh O’Connor.
With 50% of the entrant fee returned to local club, the remainder going towards the county teams, the Club Limerick Draw is a vital source of funding for our local club and we are extremely grateful to all our supporters who participate in this draw each year.
