FEDAMORE GAA CLUB NOTES

Junior teams
The hurlers played Doon on Monday night with final score of Fedamore 1:16 – 0:14 Doon. The hurlers played Murroe Boher on Sunday with the final score of Fedamore 1:5 – 2:11 Murroe Boher. The footballers play Kilteely Dromkeen on Thursday evening in Fedamore at 6.45pm. We would like to wish a speedy recovery to Brian Murphy who got injured in action on Sunday.

Kilpeacon
The Kilpeacon minors (Fedamore, Ballybricken/Bohermore and Crecora) played Ballybrown in an exhilarating draw in Fedamore last Friday night in the County Premier Minor Hurling Championship. Final score was Kilpeacon 3:12-2:15 Ballybrown. Next game is against Doon on September 4th in Doon. The minors also had a fine win versus Garryspillane on Tuesday night. Final score Kilpeacon 2:17 – 1:13 Garryspillane.

Fedamore GAA Lotto
This week’s numbers are 7, 8, 15 and 17. There was no winner of the jackpot which is now worth €12,100. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were Joan Quinn c/o J. McCarthy, Tom Martin c/o Kirby’s, Andrew Clohessy and Denny Hourigan. Next week’s draw is Sunday September 1st in Hogans bar. Thanks for your support. Lotto tickets now available online. Village Clean up
We are proud to support the Fedamore Parish clean up Saturday morning (31st). The meeting time is 10.30am at the community centre. Please bring gloves, shovels, sweeping brushes and high vis jacket/vest if possible.

Well done to the Fedamore under 8’s who played a blitz in Na Piarsaigh last Friday night.

Fedamore GAA 5k series
The popular 2.5k/5k run/walk series returns on Thursday, September 26th to Fedamore GAA field. This series will run for four weeks be in association with the Cliona Ring foundation, a good local charity. We encourage all the community to come run, walk or jog. Running clubs also welcome and there will be prizes at end of the series.
