Results this past week

Junior B hurling league Tuesday 21st May

South Liberties 0-16 Murroe-Boher 0- 13
Doon 2-17 Fedamore 0-15 
Pallasgreen 2-10 Ballybricken-Bohermore 0-10

JUNIOR A: Junior A hurling league final took place on last Friday night. Ballybricken-Bohermore and Caherline both had four wins coming into the final and this was always going to be a close game. The game lived up to this as it was 60 minutes of good hard hurling with lots of skill on display. Ballybricken-Bohermore had the better of the first half and used the wind to there advantage and went  in 12 pts to 5 up at half time break. The second half Caherline started to make inroads on the lead . Ballybricken-Bohermore kept up an advantage of 4 pts during the game before a goal in the 24th minute from Caherline reduced the lead to just 1pt. Caherline could not draw level and  the final 6 minutes of the game Ballybricken- Bohermore pushed on to score 1-3 and run out winners on full time scoreline of 1-18 to 1-12. Congratulations to Ballybricken-Bohermore on their win.

Sean Mckenna Chairman of the East Board presented the cup on the evening.

Junior A hurling Championship will start the end of June and given the standard that was played by all teams in the league it will be great championship this summer.

JUNIOR B: Junior B Hurling league final will be between Pallasgreen and Doon please check the East board Facebook and Twitter pages for date , time and venue.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL: Junior A&B football league this past week  two wins for Kilteely-Dromkeen and wins for Cappamore and Oola. It is still very close at the top of the league with Oola , Kilteely -Dromkeen , South Liberties and Cappamore in the mix for the final.
