Club Fixtures
The relaxation of some Covid 19 restrictions meant a busy week for our club. Thanks to all the hard work of our volunteers we were able to resume activities without any complications. Wednesday
was a busy night for our ladies football teams and saw out U8 play Granagh Ballingarry while ourU14s were victorious against Ahane. Under 12s hosted Adare on Friday Evening. Fixtures continued
over the weekend in hurling also with our Premier Intermediate Hurlers travelling to Bruff on Saturday to take on Bruff in the first round of the South Senior League. We were unlucky on the
night but our team gave a stellar performance with a final score of 1:26 to 1:18. Team on the night was Richard Ryan, Shane Scully, Gerry Quaid, Gearoid O Leary, Shane Rabbitte, Mike Reidy, Kieran
Shortt, Mark Fitzpatrick, Sean O Leary, David Breen, Jason Lenihan, Adam Costello, James Kelleher, Paul Neenan and Robbie Breen. Substitutes Adam Hanley for Paul Neenan, Jamie Gubbins for
Gearoid O Leary, Mike Moloney for Kieran Shortt, Ciaran Fox for James Kelleher and Pierce Gavin for Sean O Leary. We look forward to their next performance on Thursday night when they take on
Knockainey.
Junior B Hurlers also start their 2021 campaign when they face Hospital. Keep an eye on Clubzapp for updates and results.
Congratulations to Banogue Footballers who had a fantastic win over Ballylanders last weekend with a scoreline of 2:13 to 0:5. This win means Banogue are now promoted to Junior A and we

The busy schedule continues this week also when our U10 Football Girls host Granagh Ballingarry inAthlacca on Wednesday night while our U14s travel to St Ailbes. Training continues for on Monday evening for U8s and U10s and on Sunday evening for U12s and U14s. U16 ladies footballers willplay Ballylanders on June 21st. Monday night our U15 hurlers travel west to play Drom Broadford.

Congratulations to the Limerick Senior Hurlers who had a great win over Westmeath last weekend. We look forward to Championship season when Limerick face Cork on July 3rd. Sympathies to Billy Lee and the Football squad who lost to Derry in the Division 3 Semi Final. Limerick gave a strong performance losing out by only 4 points to the favourites on the day. We’ve witnessed some great football from the squad to date and we look forward to their upcoming championship fixtures.
