DROMIN-ATHLACCA GAA CLUB NOTES

Dromin Athlacca GAA Club are very excited to announce the launch of the new club app in
conjunction with Club Zapp! Dromin Athlacca GAA Club along with Banogue GAA and Dromin
Athlacca Banogue Juvenile club have all come together for this new venture. We are hoping all club
members, both playing and non-playing will download this app, so even if you don’t play, you can
still be connected and have pride in your club. This app will now be used for paying club
membership and news updates. Remember, it is necessary to be a registered member of our club to
be eligible to play and avail of club facilities tickets and other club events and draws. This app is easy
to use and will allow all members to be connected and facilitate those abroad to join our club and
keep updated on all news and events. We are all very excited about this new app and we hope that
everyone can get involved. It’s important during times like these to have pride in our clubs and this
app will allow us to be part of our club from all corners of the globe. To download this app, you
must first download Clubzapp in the app store or Google Playstore. Then search for “Dromin
Athlacca Banogue” and “join”. From there you can pick which club you want to pay membership to
along with the option of playing or non playing member. As mentioned, we hope that everyone will
get involved and give this app a go. If anyone has any queries, please contact any committee
member or the clubs social media pages. There are step by step video instructions available from
coaches for anyone who may like. From May 7th, WhatsApp will cease to be used within the club
and all club information will be available on Clubzap only.
This week sees some changes to COVID 19 restrictions with Underage Training resuming with non
contact training. This is welcome news and we remind parents and players alike to complete the
e-learning course before we return to play. This is similar to the course issued last year so people
will be familiar with it. The Covid 19 Club Education eLearning Module is now available on
https://courses.gaa.ie/Covid19ClubEd/#/. Remember details of training will be available on the
Clubzapp.
This week also sees the return of the Allianz Hurling League. On May 8th Limerick Senior Hurlers will
take on Tipperary in LIT Gaelic Grounds with throw in at 5.30pm. May 15th sees the beginning of
the Allianz Football League when Limerick will again face Tipperary in LIT Gaelic Grounds with throw
in at 5pm. We look forward to these exciting times and wish both teams every success.
The all new 2021 Club Limerick Draw is underway with The second monthly draw in the Club

our club in this draw, but we look forward to next months draw which will be held on May 29th with
