DROMIN/ATHLACCA GAA CLUB NOTES

Fixtures + Results: Due to the ongoing bad weather recently, many fixtures were cancelled. Rescheduled fixtures will be highlighted on our social media pages, you’ll find us on facebook and instragam. Keep an eye out!

The Limerick Club Draw was launched last week eith the firs draw due to take place on April 4th. The Exclusice Star Prize for March will see one lucky family of 2 Adults + 2 Children win a trip for the May Bank Holiday Weekend to Center Parc Activity Centre in Longord. There will be 29 other cash prizes per month with a Top Prize of 10,000e er month giving you 300 good reasons to play! Full infotmation on Club Draw 2020 can be received from any committee member.

Lotto: the 6,900 Jackpot was not won this week. Lucky Dip winners were John Coleman 40e, Joe Sheedy 20e and Richie and Sarah Kenny 20e. Next weeks jackpot will be 6,950e, and the draw will take place in Pa Riordans Bar

Club membership is now oipen for 2020 at a cost of 30e. Closing date for membership is April 17th. Payment can be made to committee members. This will cover insurance costs for players and give priority for All Ireland tictets later in the year.

The GAA Healthy Club Walking Group continues weekly with registration @ 7pm at Athlacca GAA pitch. This initiative offers to make exercise more sociable and safer on these dark nights. All are welcome, bring your high vis jackets.

Interested in joining a fun, energetic club and making lots of new friends?? Registration for girls interested in playing football from ages 8 to minor will take place in Athlacca Hall on Sunday next March 1st @ 6pm. Registration is 50e each or 120e for a family. There will also be a medal presentation to U12A Sheild Winners, U14 Sheild runners up and U16 League Cup Winners starting at 7pm

Congratulations to Limerick Senior Football and Hurling teams as they continue the National League success. Limerick Hurlers played Cork in Pairc Ui Chaoimh and won on a score of 0-29 to Cork 2-21. Limerick Footballers played Wicklow in Mick Neville Park Rathkeale with a final score of Limerick 5-10 Wicklow 1-14.
