Limerick GAA:
What a weekend of sport it’s been in Limerick. Last weekend saw Limerick Senior Footballers make their way into a Munster Final when they beat Tipperary 2.10 – 0.10. Billy Lee and his men now face Kerry on May 28th in Killarney and we wish them every success.
Congratulations also to Limerick Senior Hurlers who are also through to a Munster Final. Well done to our own David Reidy who again, gave an epic display of skill and stamina, which resulted in Limerick Senior Hurlers draw against Clare in Ennis. We look forward to June 5th when Limerick will face Clare in a Munster Final in Semple Stadium. This will be the first time since 1934 that both Limerick Senior Footballers and Senior Hurlers will face a Munster Final and we wish them every success.
We also wish Cian Scully and Limerick U20s Hurling Squad who will play Kilkenny in the All Ireland Final next weekend. This promises to be an epic performance and all eyes will be on Semple Stadium for the 1.30pm throw in. Best of luck Cian.
Fixtures:
Friday May 20th U12 Girls Football v Knocainey and U9 Footballers face Blackrock.
Saturday May 21st our Premier Intermediate Team travel to Glenroe with a 7.30pm throw in. Best of luck to all.
