CTB GAA Club Lotto:
The numbers drawn for last week’s lotto draw for €8,500 on May 12th were 6, 10, 13 and 25 with no outright winner. Lucky dip winners were €50 – Noreen Clancy, Effin (Online); €20 – Ita Farrell, Ballyagran; €20 – Paul Hourigan, Milford (Online); €20 – John Lynch, Patrickswell. Next Lotto draw for €8,600 will take place on Thursday, May 19th. Ballyagran C.C. Split the Bucket:
Congratulations to Theresa Biggane who won €270 in May’s Split the Bucket. The Camogie Club will hold their next draw for Split the Bucket on Tuesday, June 7th You can purchase a ticket for just €2. Envelopes for the draw are available at the following shops: Dolans, O’Gorman’s Foodstore (Granagh), the Creamery, Carlos’s chipper, Donnellan’s Bar and Foley’s Bar. Camogie Junior A League Final:
Ballyagran 1-12 Doon 2-09. A thrilling final in Crecora. Doon got off to a flyer, settling into the game very well. Our girls’ work rate and determination was never to be doubted, whilst throughout the game they battled hard for every ball. In the last 5 minutes, we were denied a goal deemed to be a square ball.The girls never gave up and with 30 seconds to go and down three points, Anne-Marie Stack-Rivas rattled the back of the net to draw the game and send us to a replay. Unbelievable team performance and team spirit. The replay will be played after the state exams.
Annual Clothes Collection:
The annual clothes collection will finish on May 31st. Please leave bags in front of the hall. Items accepted: clean dry clothes, shoes, bags, belts. Please no duvets, pillows, curtains or bed clothes.
