Weeding Bells

Congratulations to the Noonan Family of Mondellihy, Dromcollogher on the marriage of Naomi and John Herlihy and especially to Naomi and her parents Garry and Ann Noonan and brother Garrett Noonan.

U13 Football Notes

On Saturday last our footballers travelled to Adare to take on Cappagh/ Rathkeale in the Division 2 county final. All our players were very focused for the 1game. This turned out to be an excellent game of football. Cappagh/ Rathkeale got a couple of early pts to settle them, our boys kept batting up and down the field. After about ten minutes our boys started to find there scoring boots by scoring 3 goals after this they never looked back. The second half turned out to be ding doing affair with our boys getting some vital scores when they needed them. This game went all the way to the wire with Drom Broadford emerging winners by minimum of margins of 1 point. When the final whistle sounded all these players who had trained very hard for the last few weeks got there just reward. All these players involved can be very proud of themselves this was a brilliant achievement well done. To all the coaches, management, parents and to all involved in this team for to win this county title well done. Aaron Leahy Was a proud Captain to accept the cup on behalf of these bunch of players.

Club Limerick Draw

Congratulations to our two winners in the Club Limerick draw (Mackey Draw) and they were Kitty O’Donnell €100 and Margaret O’Callaghan €250.
