This was a very tight game with our goal on the night coming from Ray Lynch in the first half of the game and our points came from Ray Lynch 0-6, Damien Lacey 0-1, Keith Lacey 0-1 and the above club would like to thank the management team of Garrett Noonan, Ross Egan, Kevin Noonan and Derry McCarthy and the panel of players led by Conor Brosnan Captian.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first points all points coming from frees all from Ray Lynch and then Kilteely/ Dromkeen scored the next 1-4 of the game to lead with 22 minutes gone in the game to lead by two points. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points coming from Damien Lacey and Keith Lacey to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next goal of the game to lead by three points with 33 minutes gone in the half to leave three points between the sides. Kilteely/ Dromkeen scored the next point of the half just before the break to leave two points at end of the half. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-7 to Kilteely/ Dromkeen 1-5.

Kilteely/ Dromkeen scored the fist three of the second half to take to lead by three points to lead by a point and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next point coming from Ray Lynch for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to bring sides back on level terms for the third time during the game. Kilteely/ Dromkeen scored the last goal of the game with 59 minutes gone in the game to take victory by three points on the night. To leave the score at full-time Kilteely/ Dromkeen 2-8 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-8.

U13 Football Notes

On Wednesday night our footballers played there second round of the u13 competition. This game was played in Quaid Park, Colyroe against the combination of Belleville Gales. This was played in wet conditions and again no referee appointed for the game, only for John Holmes volunteering the game might not have gone ahead. These players have improved their performances since the game on Monday. On the night they were more clever with the ball than Belleville Gaels by getting some great scores by winning the game by a big margin. This makes it two out of two. The line-out was as follows: B. Croke, S. Egan, A. Leahy, A. White, C. O’Brien, G. O’Callaghan, R. O’Sullivan, S. Geary, A. O’Kelly, R. Lynch. A. O’Dell, D. Reidy, R. Jefferies, S. Browne and R O’Dell.

Results of the 360th draw took place on October 14th, in The Corner House, Dromcollogher and the numbers drawn were: 4, 10, 26, 27 there was no winner of the jackpot was at €6,900 and there also was also no winner match three at €100 and the two lucky dips of €50 each were: Mike O’Mara Senior, Dromcollogher and Kevin McGill, Dromcollogher and the next draw will take place on this coming Monday October 21st, in Foley’s Bar, Broadford and the Jackpot is going up to €7,000 and the match three is staying at €100. Tickets are available from any committee member or any promoter at €2 each or 3 for €5.
