This was a very tight game played in very heavy conditions on Sunday last in Quaid Park (Colyroe), with our goal in the second half coming from Derry McCarthy and the points on the day came from: Damien Lacey 9 points, Derry McCarthy, Damien Burke, Denis Donegan, Garrett Noonan, Shane Murphy, Paul Madigan and Keith Lacey all a point each the above would like to thank the management team of Denis O’Carroll, Mike O’Connor and lain Brick and the panel of players led by Sean O’Sullivan Captain.

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first three point of the half and these points came from Damien Lacey, Derry McCarthy and Damien Burke and then Tournafulla scored the three points to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game and these points came from Eoin O’Sullivan, Anthony Hartnett, James Brouder. Damien Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford gave us the lead by scoring the next two points one play and the other from a free and then Tournafulla scored the next five to the lead by three points with two points each coming from Cian Sullivan and Anthony Hartnett and the other point came from Eoin O’Sullivan. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next four points to take the lead by a point with of two of these coming from Damien Lacey both from frees and the other points came from Denis Donegan and Garrett Noonan and then Tournafulla scored the next three points to lead by two points at the break and with two of these points coming from Anthony Hartnett and the other point coming from Michael Collins. To leave the score at half-time Tournafulla 0-11 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 0-09.

Damien Lacey of Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Michael Collins exchange points early in the second half and then Derry McCarthy scored a goal for Dromcollogher/ Broadford to lead by a point to lead by a point and then Tournafulla scored the next four points to lead by four points with Anthony Hartnett scoring three points and the other points came from Cian Sullivan and Eoin O’Sullivan. Damien Lacey scored the next two points one from play and the other from a free to leave two points between sides and then Anthony Hartnett of Tournafulla and Shane Murphy of Dromcollogher/ Broadford exchanged points. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next three points to lead by a point and these points came from Paul Madigan, Keith Lacey, Damien Lacey and then Tournafulla scored the last two points both coming from Anthony Hartnett one from a free and the from a sideline ball before the end of the game to give them a victory of one point on the day. To leave the score at full-time Tournafulla 0-20 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-16.
