This was a very tight with the goals being the difference between the sides on the day, with Galbally scoring a goal in each of the half, they were clearly the better team on the night.
Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the first point of the game and then Galbally replied with a point to bring sides on level terms for the first time during the game. Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next point of the game to take the lead once again and then Galbally scored the next 1-1 of the game with the goal coming with 9 minutes gone in the game to leave three points between the sides. Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next three points to bring sides for the second time and these points came from Garrett Noonan, Kevin Noonan and Micheál Brosnan and then Galbally scored the next two points to take lead once again and then Jack Ryan of Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next of the point of the game to leave a point between the sides. Galbally scored the last three points of the half to lead four points at the break. To leave the score at half-time Galbally 1-7 to Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-6.
Galbally scored their second goal of the game with 31 minutes gone in the game to leave seven points between the sides and then Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the next two points coming from Jack Pierce and Garrett Noonan to leave five points between the sides. Galbally scored the next five points to lead by 10 points and then Dromcollogher/Broadford scored the last two points of the game, and these points came from Garrett Noonan and Kevin Noonan to leave eight points between the sides at end of the game. Limerick Senior Footballers were defeated by Sligo on a scoreline of 2-20 to 0-09, in the All-Ireland Tailteann Cup Senior Football Championship Quarter Final. Hard luck to Limerick Senior Footballers Management Team led by Jimmy Lee and especially to our club players Cillian Fahy started at Centre back and scored a point during the game and Brian Ahern came on a second half substitute.
