This was a very tight game between two evenly match teams with Dromcollogher/ Broadford winning out by one-point deep injury time with the winning point coming from Cillian Fahy, this makes it two wins out of three games, our next game is against Pallasgreen, on tomorrow Thursday August 23rd, in Kilreedy (Martinstown), at 6.45pm. This was a very tight game between two evenly matched teams with our goals on the night coming from Declan Stack and Alan Power this loss us into the Quarter Final of the West Junior B Football Championship this coming weekend. The boys played very well on last Wednesday and very unlucky not to win on the night with six points coming from Kevin Noonan and both Declan Stack and Alan Power scored 1-2 each and the scores on the night were: Micheál Fahy, Liam McGraynor and Darragh Stack all a point each.
Knockaderry scored the first point of the game and then Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-2 of the game to lead by four points with our goal coming from Declan Stack with four minutes gone in the game and both points came from Kevin Noonan. Knockaderry then scored the four points to bring sides back on level terms for the first time during the game and then Kevin Noonan of Dromcollogher/ Broadford gave us the back the lead once again by a point. Knockaderry scored the next two points to take the lead once again by a point and then Micheál Fahy of Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored his point of the game to bring sides back on level terms for the third time during the game. Knockaderry scored the next point to lead by a point at the break. To leave the score at half-time Knockaderry 0-8 to Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-4.
Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first two points of the second half to lead a point coming from Liam McGraynor and Kevin Noonan and then Knockaderry scored the next goal of the game with 34 minutes gone in the game to take the lead by two points. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next 1-2 of the game with the goal coming from Alan Power with 41 minutes gone in the game and the points came from Declan Stack and Kevin Noonan to give us back the lead once again by three points and then Knockaderry replied with next point to put two points between the sides. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points, and these points came from Kevin Noonan and Alan Power to give us the lead of four points and then Knockaderry scored the next point to put three points between the sides and then Darragh Stack of Dromcollogher/ Broadford replied with a point to put four points between the sides once again. U13 All County Hurling Championship Division 3 Semi-Final
Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale was the venue for the U13 Division 3 Championship Semi-Final between Dromcollogher/ Broadford and Patrickswell. After 5 minutes the first score of the game came from Patrickswell from a free. Callum Curtin scored Dromcollogher/ Broadford our first point of the game. Patrickswell followed that up straight away with a point of their own. Then Conor McGarry scored our second point of the game and Patrickswell then scored 1-1 without response. Micheál O’Kelly score the last point of the first half from a free. Half-Time score was: Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-3 Patrickswell 1-3. It was Dromcollogher/Broadford who started brightest in the second half scoring 3 points without response in the first nine minutes of the second half those points coming from Ben Lenihan, Conor McGarry and Anthony Pierce. Then Patrickswell scored their first point of the second half after 28 minutes from a free, that was followed up by a Micheál O’Kelly point a minute later. It was Patrickswell who scored the final 2 points of the game both coming from frees. It was Patrickswell who progressed to the final. Full-Time Score was: Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-7 Patrickswell 1-6.

Well done to the boys who worked hard throughout the year and going unbeaten throughout the group stage and were just unlucky with the result in the Semi-Final.
