U15 Football Notes:
On Friday last our U15 footballers participated in the Feile Peil Na Nóg. The first game up was against Newcastle West in Quaid Park, Colyroe. Our boys really performed well played against a strong breeze in the first half trailing by a goal at the break. The boys really upped the performance in the second half with a comfortable win on a scoreline of 2-5 to 1-0. We then travelled to Feenagh for the second game against Belville Gaels, the home side controlled the game from the start with the combination of Feohanagh/ Castlemahon and Feenagh/ Kilmeedy this was going to be a tough ask for our boys. The boys really battled to final whistle loosing on a scoreline of 3-3 to 1-0. Our third and final was played in Feenagh against another combination team of Shannon Gaels/ Athea our boys really struggled to get into the game in the first half with the opposition controlling game. Our boys kept working hard in the second half creating a few great scores. Shannon Gaels/ Athea ran out winners on a scoreline of 4-5 to 2-2. The panel of players on the day were: J. Noonan, S.
