CROOM GAA CLUB NOTES
Rising Stars:
Last Saturday marked the final day for our Rising Stars programme. Over the last 6 weeks, over 50 children enjoyed fun activities and developing their fundamental movement skills through Hurling and Gaelic Football. All kids received a certificate and Tshirt. We would like to thank our lead coach Orla Donnelly and all the coaches including Aaron, Jake, Stephen, Shane, Ryan, and all those who helped each week. Thanks also to Richie, Breda, and Stephen for helping organise it. All interest turns to the GAA pitch where training will commence for U6s in the next few weeks.
Club Limerick Draw 2020:
Limerick GAA recently launched the annual Club Limerick Draw (formerly Mackey Draw) with 10 monthly draws and 30 prizes every month with the new addition of a monthly Star Prize. Entry is €10/month or €100 for the year. Funds raised go towards all activities in Limerick GAA including coaches in schools, facilities such as Mick Neville Park, and supporting all teams from U13 divisional squads up to Senior teams in both Hurling and Football. 50% of the money comes back to your local club. Team App for club communications:
Exciting news! We have recently launched the Croom GAA Club App, which will provide parents & players with updates on matches, training and other communications. This new app will also ensure that the club us compliant with new Data Protection Guidelines and allow us to move away from WhatApps and SMS groups.
Simply download Team App from the App Store or Google Play and search for Croom GAA Club. From here request to the teams you want updates on (e.g. u14 Parents)
