CROOM GAA CLUB NOTES

Colm O’Regan Tournament:
This Saturday brings our community together once more to celebrate and remember the life of a long serving club stalwart Colm O’Regan. We hold our annual U10 hurling tournament with involvement from new fewer than 4 counties in Munster-Ruan and Clarecastle from Clare; St. Mark’s from Cork; Portroe from Tipperary; and Newcastle West, Knockaderry, Hospital and our own U10s of Croom from Limerick. All teams will be in position from 10.30am sharp to march behind the piper and stand collectively for the national anthem. Let’s hope the weather will be kind to us on the day and we wish our boys every success, along with their coaches Mike Mangan, James Malone, and Chris McAteer who have put in a huge amount of unseen work this year preparing the team. We ask parents, club members, and anyone who would like to come along please do, as it is a great day out. As always we would encourage club members and parents to bring along some sandwiches, fruit, biscuits, soft drinks or whatever you’d like to bring so that we can ensure all our guests to Croom will not go hungry. Lets make it a day to remember. Croom Abu!
