FEDAMORE GAA CLUB NOTES
Junior Hurling
The hurlers qualified for the East Final after beating Pallasgreen last Friday evening. We now play Murroe Boher in the final on Sunday September 22nd, 12pm in Caherelly.
Lotto
This weeks lotto numbers are 13, 22, 26 and 27. There was no winner of the jackpot which is now worth €12,300. The lucky dip winners of €25 each are Joseph & Aine c/o Hogans, Joe Shortt c/o Dempsey’s, Bridget Dillon c/o Slaters and Fox/Patsy/Jossy c/o Kirby’s. Next weeks draw is Sunday September 15th in Dempsey’s. Thanks for your support.
Kilpeacon
The minor hurlers played their last game of the year on Wednesday against Doon. Unfortunately the result didn’t go our way and were comfortably beaten. Thanks to all players and management for their efforts this year.
Churchtown tournament
We were delighted to be invited to participate in the Paudie Doyle memorial hurling competition in Churchtown, Cork last Sunday. It was a fine sporting game and a good workout for our young panel. Thanks to Churchtown for hosting us and to our loyal supporters for travelling.
Fedamore GAA 5k series
The popular 2.5k/5k run/walk series returns on Thursday, September 26th to Fedamore GAA field. This series will run for four weeks be in association with local charity, Cliona Ring foundation. We encourage all the community to come run, walk or jog. Running clubs also welcome and there will be prizes at end of the series.
Thanks to all those that helped with the village clean up over the past two Saturdays.
