U8s:
Last Friday Croom U8s took part in a football blitz in Hospital. We had a great turnout of 22 players so we could enter 2 teams. Team 1 was looked after by Liam and they played Kilteely/Dromkeen, Galbally, and Pallasgreen winning all 3. Team 2 was looked after by Theresa and Stephen and they played Hospital, Knockainey, and Cois Laoi Gaels winning 2 and drawing the last game. It was a great evening with some good play by our players. It was heartening to see so many parents enthusiastically cheering on their kids all evening. Big thank you to everyone who came along and helped out. Hurling training this Thursday 6.30pm.
U6s:
Last Thursday evening we had a feast of hurling and footbal against our near neighbours Dromin/Athlacca/Banogue. Both clubs had 2 teams and the players got plenty of action. We drew in the hurling, and won one and lost one of the football. Thank you to all parens who came along to support their kids. Hurling training this Thursday Sept 5th 6.30-7.30pm.
