Underage Blitz:
Last Thurs 29/Aug in St Patricks…we have a brilliant night of hurling organised by our local GDA officers.
We had 56 kids from 5yrs to 10 years of age. We fielded two u6 teams(welcome to Claughaun everyone!)
3 teams @ u8 and 2 teams @ u10. Huge congrats to all the boys & girls and their coaches.
G4MO Blitz:
Our ladies football team travelled to Ballyhahill(where?) on Sun 1/Sep for the blitz. We played 4 games against
Old Mill, Athea, Gerald Griffins & Granagh Ballingarry. Some great passages of play paid dividends with a 50%
win rate on the day and stamina very evident from the expert tuition of Gerry Butler & Sam Mullins
