Junior A Football:
Last week we played our first game of the year in the South League at home v Bruree. It was a rusty performance, but credit to the lads who battled back to force a draw 2.10 a piece. We await the replay fixture details. Team: Noel Hayes, Dan Lucey, Aidan Morrissey, Darragh Hayes, Ryan O’Shea, John Quirke, Rory Dunworth, Kevin Laffin, Dara O’Farrell, James Malone, Jamie Shinnors, Mickey Cahill, Deano Shinnors, Mark Reidy, Mikey Cummins. Subs: Mark O’Kelly, Brian Burke, Kevin McNamara.

Junior B Hurling:
Last week we played our final game in the South League at home v Hospital/Herbertstownand. We had a great win 5.19 to 0.10, and we look forward to the South Championship next.

U15s:
Our U15 hurlers travelled to Newtownshandrum last Saturday to take part in the Munster 10 aside tournament. They played a very strong Killmallock team and a strong Newtownshandrum team and while beaten in both games Croom never gave up. It was a new experience for a young U15 team so there was plenty of learning to be taken from both games. Thank you to Newtownshandrum GAA club for all their kind hospitality shown to us on the day.

U14s:
Last week we beat Blackrock in football 1.07 : 4.08. We then drew with St. Kierans 3.08 : 3.08. This week is very busy. We play Patrickswell away on Wednesday the 5th in the next round of the hurling championship. On Friday evening at 7.15pm in the clubhouse we’re having a presentation of gear bags to the U14 hurlers followed by team pictures and refreshments, parents, families and friends all welcome. On Saturday the bus leaves at 8-45am with the U14 hurlers going to Thurles to play in the Munster Provincial Féile in Dr. Morris Park. They play Newport at 11am, then Kileedy/Tournafulla at 12noon, and depending on results, semi-finals are at 2pm and finals at 3pm. This team are a young side taking on strong opposition and we wish them the best of luck.

U12s:
Last week we lost at home v Bruree in football by 3 points. This Thursday June 6th we have hurling training at 6.30pm.
