GAA LOTTO: No winner, numbers drawn were 15, 19, 22, 26. Lucky dip winners were Ger Coffey, Kathleen Styles, Ger Coffey, Donnacha O’Gorman and Kathleen Mulready. Next weeks jackpot will be €2,300 and the draw will be held on Friday night in Uncle Toms Bar.
MINOR HURLING: Our East/City Minor A final against Murroe-Boher has been re-scheduled for next Saturday, October 12th, in Cappamore, throw in fixed for 4pm.
U-12 HURLING: Our annual Phil Power Memorial Cup game took place last Sunday evening in Caherconlish against Cappamore. The first half was even enough, a goal from Joe Gavin & two points from Flynn Horgan & Libby Casey gave us a 2 point lead at half time, 1-02 to 0-03. Mark spoke to team at half time about giving it everything in the second half and they did just that – another goal from Joe & points from Pádraig McCarthy (2) & a 65 from Evan Martin saw us take the win,

U-10 HURLING: Well done to our U-10’s who played in what was a rain soaked yet enjoyable county blitz in Maguire’s Field in UL last Saturday morning. They did very well against Newcastlewest, Askeaton and South Liberties. Team: Sean O Dwyer, Micheal Koyce, Brian McGrath, Philip Power, Nathan Madden, Noah Madden, Ryan Mannion, William Tracey, Aaron O Brien, Adam Ryan, Colin Ryan, Dáire O Dwyer, Richie Coffey.
