BLACKROCK GAA CLUB NOTES
There was no winner of the club lotto held on Wednesday 12th June. The numbers drawn were 9 13 14 25. The €40 went to Niall Moloney, Ballyhoura Heights, Promotor Brendan O’Brien.
The €20 went to Helen Gleeson, Vale View, Promotor Breda Walsh, Bryan McMahon, c/o Josie, Promotor Con Danaher, Kyran O’Donnell, Vale View, Promotor Donie O’Sullivan, Margaret McGrath, Ardpatrick Promotor McGraths Bar.
On Wed 19th the lotto will be in McGraths Bar, for a jackpot of €5,750.
The Premier Intermediates beat Pallasgreen on a score line of 4 18 to 2 17. Unfortunately the Junior B hurlers lost the South league final to Garryspillane on a scoreline of 1 19 to 1 12.
Congratulations to Limerick teams winning at the weekend, Limerick Minor hurlers with congratulations to Jimmy Quilty, Limerick Senior Camogie team beating Offaly, congratulations to Katie Hennessy, Ladies football under 14s beat Roscommon.
Limerick Senior hurlers suffered defeat to Tipperary in the last round robin match but now play the Munster final on June the 30th in the Gaelic Grounds at 2pm against Tipperary, and the Limerick Minor hurlers take on Clare in the Munster final at 1130am
The All County league continues with a match V Effin on Thursday 20th in Effin. After 5 matches we are top of the league with 8 points and a plus 46 on score difference.
The Junior B hurling championship starts this weekend
Next Saturday the 22nd June sees Ballyhoura’s fittest family take place in the Michael Fox Memorial Park, with the after party in McCarthys courtyard at 9pm.
