BLACKROCK GAA CLUB NOTES
It was a good weekend for the club, with wins for the Senior hurlers and the Junior B’s.
The Senior hurlers beat Monaleen to retain Senior status for 2022. Well done to the team captained by Kevin Palmer and Paudie Leahy and managed by Aidan Fitzgerald and Jimmy Quilty. The score was 0 20 to 0 18. The Senior hurlers year is over and we are looking forward to 2022 already.
The junior b’s played Camogue Rovers in the league section of the South Junior B championship, winning on a score line of 4 18 to 0 16. Great result.
We now top the table with 6 points from 3 matches, with only Glenroe left to play next Sunday in Kilfinane at 5pm.
There was no winner of the club lotto on Wednesday 22nd. The numbers drawn were 2 5 22 29

There was no winner of the club lotto on Wednesday 29th. The numbers drawn were 1 10 21 22.
The €40 went to Mary Buckley Vale View, Promotor Breda Walsh. The €20 went to Ger O Brien, West End, Promotor Brendan O Brien, Danny Moloney, Ballyhoura Heights, Promotor Carmel Murphy, Matt Griffin, St Anns Tce, Promotor Brendan O Brien, Ester O Brien, Promotor Brendan O Brien.
Next week the jackpot remains at €13,000 in the Pavillion on Wednesday 6th October.
