BLACKROCK GAA CLUB NOTES
There was no winner of the club lotto held on 23rd June, the numbers drawn were 2 5 13 19. The €40 lucky dip went to Brendan Hennessy, Promotor Brendan O Brien. The €20 lucky dips went to Breda and Alannah Walsh, Promotor Breda Walsh, Tommy Quane, promotor Harry Murphy, John Quilty, promotor Brendan O Brien, Dave Crowe, Promotor Brendan O Brien.
The Jackpot on the 30th is €13,000 in the Pavillion.
The junior B’s were beaten by Staker Wallace on Sunday in the All county league, 7 points to 15. Next up is Camogue Rovers next weekend. The fixture date is not confirmed, keep an eye on face book for updates.
The Senior match V Dromin Athlacca did not take place during the week, we play Glenroe on Sunday 4th at 7.30 pm in Glenroe
Well done to the Limerick senior footballers and the Senior Camogie teams who both beat Waterford at the weekend.
Best wishes to the 2020 minor team who play Galway on Friday next in the 2020 All Ireland semifinal, including our own Sean O’Neill.
The Senior hurlers take on Cork in the Munster semifinal on Saturday 3rd, and the Senior Camogie team also play Cork in the Munster final also at 7.30 on the 3rd.
Bord na nOg and Blackrock Effin camogie teams are busy training and playing matches these days also. There is a full programme of activity in the field, and it is great to see all ages enjoying sport.
