Senior Football
Our senior footballers kick off their championship campaign this Sunday against St Kierans in the Bog Garden at 7pm. Ticket details for the fixture have not been released as of yet but stay tuned to our social media accounts for any updates!
On Sunday evening, we had our final warm up game prior to the championship as we defeated Gerald Griffins in a tough fought game in Askeaton. Sean Whelan’s well taken goal proved the difference between the sides.

Best wishes to Danny Neville who departs for Abu Dhabi later this week!
The very best of luck to Danny in his travels where his talents on and off the field will no doubt see him succeed.
His performances for Limerick over the past few years have been an inspiration to all as he picked up Munster League and National League titles in 2020.
However, as a Ballysteen man, Danny has been an example to all, giving so much back to his club, from playing, coaching to helping with repairs at the sportsfield!
Before he left, this years captain Shane Hallinan presented Danny with a plaque.

Club Limerick Draw
The Club Limerick Draw for August takes place on Saturday 28 August. This years exclusive prize is two nights bed & breakfast in a Corrib room At Ashford Castle, table d’Hote Dinner in the George V Dining Room on one night and Corrib Cruise for two aboard the Isle of Innisfree. There is also 29 cash prizes every month with 50% going back to clubs!

Win a Kuga
Limerick GAA in association with Lyons of Limerick Ford Store have teamed up to give one lucky supporter the chance to follow their county team in style. An all new 212 Ford Kuga Titanium Hybrid Automatic, is up for grabs.
All proceeds from the “Win A Kuga” draw with Limerick GAA will be reinvested in county hurling and football teams representing Limerick from minor right through to Senior grades. Tickets are being sold online at winakuga.ie at €20 each and the single lucky winner will be announced on 25th September where they will be presented with the keys to a brand new Ford Kuga Titanium.

Limerick Minor Football
Best of luck to Calum Ryan and Matt Moane who are part of the Limerick Minor Football panel who contest the Munster Football Final against Cork on Wednesday evening in Semple Stadium!

Service to the Elderly
Ballysteen GAA along with Askeaton GAA & Askeaton/Ballysteen/Kilcornan Bord na nÓg GAA wish to offer our services to the eldery and the most vulnerable in our community during this current time and throughout the weeks ahead.
All three clubs are coming together to give back to our community that has supported us throughout good times and bad. We will be offering to help anyone who requires shopping, prescriptions, fuel etc to be collected on their behalf and delivered to their doorstep.
We will support local businesses to help keep our local community going. Listed below are our coordinators numbers. You can ring or text these numbers and we will organise assistance thereafter. Best hygiene practices will be used by our volunteers during the delivery of this service. Thanks to everyone who is volunteering as part of this. Every little helps in the sustainment and sense of community amongst ourselves. Please remember to share this information to people who are not on Social Media so that they know this service is available.
