KILDIMO PALLASKENRY GAA CLUB NOTES

LIMERICK SENIOR HURLERS: Congratulations to Kyle Hayes, Darren O’Connell and Ruairí Maher who were all part of the Limerick senior hurling setup who have made yet another All-Ireland final. It was a powerful display from Limerick who drove on after the first water break to win comprehensively. Kyle was a tower of strength at wing-back, preventing two goal opportunities with big interventions, a shoulder in the first half and a perfectly-timed flick in the second. He also continually delivered diagonal ball into the full-forward line which reaped lots of rewards throughout. Well done to all and best of luck in the final!
INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP: As it stands, we have been informed that the first round of the Intermediate Football Championship is this coming Friday, August 13 in Askeaton at 7pm. We are fixed to take on the team that dominated Limerick football throughout this millennium, Dromcollogher/Broadford. Keep an eye on social media for any updates to the fixture but, as it stands, we open our 2021 campaign on Friday evening!
U-13 FOOTBALL: Our U-13 footballers take on Cappagh/Rathkeale this Thursday, August 12. Best of luck to all involved!
U-15 FOOTBALL: Our U-15 footballers take on Athea this Monday, August 9 in Athea at 7pm. Our U-15s have won two games from two so far, as have Athea, so this is a real top-of-the-table clash!
MINOR FOOTBALL: Our U-17 footballers face Fr. Casey’s in Pallaskenry on Wednesday, August 11. It’ll be a tough fixture against a very strong west side, but our lads are a seriously talented group.
U-19 FOOTBALL: In a big week of football, our U-19s take on Banogue in Pallaskenry on Tuesday, August 10. This is the opening game of their Championship campaign, best of luck to all players & coaches!
