BALLYSTEEN GAA CLUB NOTES

Club Limerick Draw
Ballysteen GAA Club is now promoting the Club Limerick Draw for 2020. Cost €100 for 10 monthly draws first draw April 6th. By joining the draw, you have a chance to win 31 prizes monthly ranging from €10000 to €100. Your membership of Ballysteen GAA Club entitles you to be included in a draw for tickets for matches where demand exceeds supply i.e. Munster & All Ireland Finals etc.

As an incentive for members who pay the full subscription before the end of February. Will be entered in a club draw for €100. Your subscription of which Ballysteen GAA receives €50 will be used to run the club and facilitate the training of our teams.

Club Membership
For anyone who doesn’t want to join the Club Limerick Draw cost of Club Membership for 2020 will be €50 (Adult) & €25 (Minor). This will cover training and insurance costs for players and give priority for All Ireland tickets when necessary. Members can also join together to take part in the Limerick Club draw by combining their €50 membership and be in with chance of winning cash prizes every month. Training
A reminder that field training sessions begin this Saturday at 9am at the field. All are welcome to attend.

Fixtures
Upcoming County Football League fixtures have been fixed for the following dates.

Home versus Fr. Casey’s, Saturday February 29th, 2020. Throw in 3pm.
Away to Na Piarsaigh, Saturday March 7th, 2020. Throw in 3pm.
Home versus Galbally, Saturday March 14th, 2020. Throw in 3pm.

National Leagues
Well done to the Limerick Senior Footballers who recorded a hard fought League victory away to Waterford last Saturday night. Danny Neville chipped in with three points from play. Next up is the visit of London to Mick Neville Park at 12pm on Sunday.

The Limerick Senior Hurlers staged a comeback to defeat All Ireland Champions Tipperary by two points last Saturday evening. Well done to John Kiely and his management team. Galway visit the Gaelic Grounds this Sunday. Throw in at 2pm.

General Election
With just under two weeks to the General Election, Ballysteen GAA Clubhouse will be the new polling station for voting in the village.
