Table Quiz
Our table quiz that was postponed a fortnight ago has been rescheduled for THIS FRIDAY, December 3 in Cagneys bar! Entry on the night is €40 per table of four players. There is no need to sign up prior as you can register on the night. The quiz will start at 7.30pm with prizes for the top teams and spot prizes to be won in a raffle! Covid certificates will be needed on the night for anyone attending.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.
U21 Football
Our U21 Footballers played out an exciting draw with Ballylanders on Sunday afternoon at the field. With both teams assured of progress heading into the game, there was still a good bite to the game that ended all square at 0-9 to 1-6. Ballylanders were 0-3 o 0-1 ahead at the first water break with David O’Shaughnessy getting us off the mark. Fiachra Butler got our second before Landers pulled two clear again. Joey Rushe made it a one point game but a double from O’Shaughnessy pulled us ahead for the first time. Tomas Sheahan had a 45’ but Ballylanders hit a goal with the final kick off the game to leave it 0-6 to 1-5 in their favour at the half.
Two marks from O’Shaughnessy levelled proceedings with Ballylanders retaking the lead prior to the final waterbreak. But excellent build up play saw O’Shaughnessy fouled as he tidied himself up to level the game late on with neither side able to find the winning score.
The U21s will be back in action this Sunday as they take on Shannon Gaels in the quarter-finals of the A Championship in Mick Neville Park at 12noon.

Club Limerick Draw
The November draw took place on Saturday 27th on Live 95 with the exclusive prize a €500 voucher for Smyths Toystore ahead of the Christmas period! Declan Nash was our only local winner, claiming €250! The final draw of the calendar year takes place later this month with the star prize €600 worth of vouchers from loyalty venues with the top prize €10,000 and 28 other cash prizes!
50% of the money used to sign up goes back to the club!

Paul Anglim’s book, Askeaton Ballysteen GAA Story 1884-2020 is available for purchase in the Celtic Book Shop on Rutland Street in the city. It could be the perfect Christmas gift for loved ones this festive season.
Service to the Elderly
Ballysteen GAA along with Askeaton GAA & Askeaton/Ballysteen/Kilcornan Bord na nÓg GAA wish to offer our services to the eldery and the most vulnerable in our community during this current time and throughout the weeks ahead.
All three clubs are coming together to give back to our community that has supported us throughout good times and bad. We will be offering to help anyone who requires shopping, prescriptions, fuel etc to be collected on their behalf and delivered to their doorstep.
We will support local businesses to help keep our local community going. Listed below are our coordinators numbers. You can ring or text these numbers and we will organise assistance thereafter. Best hygiene practices will be used by our volunteers during the delivery of this service. Thanks to everyone who is volunteering as part of this. Every little helps in the sustainment and sense of community amongst ourselves. Please remember to share this information to people who are not on Social Media so that they know this service is available.
