BALLYLANDERS GAA CLUB NOTES
County final Sunday
This Sunday our sister club Glenroe take part in the County intermediate hurling final vs Newcastlewest in Kilmallock with a 3:pm throw in,we want to wish all the players & management the very best of luck & hopefully there will be scenes of celebrations on Sunday evening.
20 Year Reunion
On November the 30th the club will be holding a 20 year reunion in the clubhouse for the 1999 team that brought a first senior title to the club in 82 years and what made the achievement even more special it was done in our first year back at senior level.The team was managed by Ollie Coffey & captained by Danny Murphy who is now the manager for Glenroe for this Sunday’s county final .We will be replaying the game again with a presentation been made then to all the players & management team on the day with Matt O’Callaghan as MC all followed by music to “Clover”
By now all the players & management will have received their invitations but this night is open to everyone to come along & reminisce about a historic event for the club.The game will be shown at 8pm so we hope to see you there.
Lotto
The lotto draw takes place on Saturday night October 19th in Gallahue’s Bar for a jackpot of €14,600.Tickets on sale locally or online for €2 each or three for €5
