BALLYLANDERS GAA CLUB NOTES

On Sunday the 13th of December, Ballylanders GAA club will host the 3rd annual Bill Fox Memorial Run. During Bill’s lifetime of service to our club he had a 6km path worn from his house in Ballintubber to Frank B. Dineen park in Ballylanders. We invite you all to run, walk, cycle 6km for Ballylanders GAA Club and for Marymount Hospice. To comply with COVID19 regulations and social distancing please complete 6km within your own 6km radius. This is something for all the family to take part in together whilst supporting a special cause and remembering one of our club’s giants. We invite you to support John Kiely and the Limerick team on this All Ireland Final day by wearing your Limerick colours. All donations big or small can be made by finding the gofundme link on all our social media platforms or by making a donation to any club official & they will be greatly appreciated. To mark your 6KM, please place a balloon (if you wish) on the club gate in the memory of Bill Fox.

The lotto draw takes place this Saturday night for a jackpot of €5,200. Tickets available from local business or you can play online. If your looking for a stocking filler for this Christmas why not get a yearly lotto ticket for €50 & make sure you never miss a draw again.

Congratulations to John and Michelle Fox who won the first prize of €10,000 in last month’s club Limerick draw, a fantastic early Christmas present and well deserved.

Everyone in Ballylanders Gaa wants to wish John Kiely and the Limerick Senior hurling team the very best of luck this Sunday in the All Ireland final, it would be a magical way to round off a very difficult year for all the county.
