BALLYBROWN GAA CLUB NOTES

U21 Win -On What was more like a winters evening the U21 team faced an amalgamation of Croagh/Kilfinny/Rathkeale- the opposition team started off with a very strong breeze down the field. It was always going to be a tough match after the final last year where we came out winners. They had a nice lead going in at half time but ours held their ground scored points and then the goals came. Two from Josh Adams, Stephen Adams got the next one. It was Karl Buckley’s goal into injury time that gave us our first lead by 2 points. Well done to the lads for holding their heads and working hard. Good luck in the final to them. Ballybrown 4-04 Croagh/Kilfinny/Rathkeale 1-11

Hard Luck to our U14 Feile Peil team who lost out on a place in the final to Adare Last week. With just a 2 point loss it was disappointing for the lads. They must be congratulated on 4 great games of football in the competition. Many thanks to the Management for their time improving their skills but for sure they will be back over the summer. They Compete in the Feile Hurling final this weekend so we wish them luck and ask people to come out and support them on Saturday. Fixture will be on Facebook as we get them.

Many Congratulations to Eoghan Kelly, Robbie Gardiner, Ethan Keyes , Robert O Brien and Keith Punch who had their first training sessionlast Saturday as part of the Limerick Celtic Challenge squad 2019. Enjoy the experience.
We Have a very busy week of fixtures this week so we want to wish Luck to our Senior Players and Management who play in Bruff on Friday evening at 6.30 vs Knockainey.
