MINOR PREMIER COUNTY WINNERS – What a way to end the 31 year wait to bring this county title home? Many of us left home wondering what conditions the torrential rain would bring us up in Bruff. Cautiously optimistic seemed to be the vibes although noone would write Doon off. But we had seen all season what this team of lads are capable of. The match was always going to be good but the level of skill from both sides was all that is good about hurling. Going in at half time with the lead had to have given our lads more confidence to come back and finish the game with the well deserved win. You’d have to mention the mighty saves from Josh O’Reilly in goals and Aidan O’Connor on top form with 10 points BUT it was a team who all played their part on form on the day. Conor’Cuba O’Neill was team captain and he stepped up to receive the cup from Pat Davoren Juvenille County Board Chairman & Club chairman. Huge Congratulations to the panel of 23 and their management team. This win is nothing less than they deserved and shows once again what a bright future the club has. Bailebrun Abu.
Winter Training will begin on Friday 18th October for U8- U12. It is on in Ul from 7.30 to 9.00 on Friday night for 4 weeks. More information will be sent by text by coaches later in the week.
