BALLYBRICKEN/BOHERMORE GAA CLUB NOTES

U21 Football: Our under 21 footballers joined with Fedamore commenced their season with a home game against Kilteely Dromkeen on a crisp dry day in Caherelly. The first half produced a wide open affair with 5 goals being shared between the teams, Bally got two of those both from the boot of Jack Cross. Darragh Hogan slotted a point from close in along with Owen O Neill. The final score of the half was a free from Jason Cross leaving the score at the break Bally 2-3 Kilteely 3-1. The second period began with the second of the Cross brothers Jack getting a point this was followed up by three in a row from Adam Shier. We were now in control of the game and with Darragh O Keefe and Colin Haigney on top around the middle of the field our dominance was starting to show on the scoreboard, Daniel Owens got two in a row followed soon after by two more from Jason Cross. Our final score came from Daniel Owens leaving us running out deserved winners on a score of Ballybricken Bohermore/Fedamore 2-12 to Kilteely Dromkeen 4-2.
