Junior A Football: Our Junior A footballers travelled to Rathbane to play Mungret St.Pauls in the fourth round of the County Football championship. It was a tightly contested affair, with scores few and far between, bally went at halftime on a score of 0:05-0:04, with Aaron O’Brien, Alan O’Riordan, James Hickey and Jack Cross(0:02) finding the target for bally in the opening 30min.
In the second half , MSP were quick off the mark ,slotting over 2pts immediately from the restart to edge them in front. Bally responded with points from Eoghan O’Neill and Jack Cross to go back in front. Both side exchanged points in the latter stages of the game with Eoghan o’Neill and James Hickey adding a further 2 for Ballybricken to ensure a 1pt win. The final score was B/B 0:09-0:08 MSP
