Bord na nOg:
Ahane u14s played their Division 1 league semi final v Monaleen on Wednesday evening in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale. This was a tight game and went to extra time. Ahane showed great composure to take the win and spirits were good going into the final v Glenquin Gaels. The team competed hard for every ball and never gave up. Some great goals but Glenquin Gaels had the edge and came out on top.
Congrats:
Congratulations to a strong Glenquin Gaels side. Thanks to all the coaches, mentors and volunteers who helped out this evening. Thanks also to all parents and family members who came out to support the boys. The team did the club proud, well done to them all
U8:
24 boys represented Ahane in beautiful sunshine on Thursday with very competitive games against Bruff, Murroe-Boher & our super hosts Monaleen. Well done to all the u8 players & thanks to all the parents for bringing them. Keep up the practice – the skills are coming on
U11 Hurling:
Well done to our u11 hurlers who played away to Ballybrown in warm conditions on Tuesday evening. We fielded two teams who each played two matches. Both sides showed great skill in what were competitive games. Thanks to Ballybrown for having us and thanks to our coaches and the parents who travelled. Well done to all the players!
