East Board Awards:
Huge congratulations to Helen Cross who received an award from the East Limerick GAA Board for 20 years of service.
U21 A Football Championship:
Our U21 footballers travelled to Caherelly to take on Ballylanders in the Quarter Final. We played some lovely football in the first half and put together some lovely passes and pieces of play. We played with the wind and went in a point up at half time. Ahane 0-05 Ballylanders 0-04. The second half got underway, and it took nearly fifteen minutes before either side scored. Unfortunately, it was Ballylandersthat did all the scoring in the final fifteen minutes as they slotted home 3 goals and two points to our one point which was scored by Ronan Fox. The final score was Ahane 0-06 Ballylanders 3-08. The score line didn’t reflect the lad’s effort and performance they put in. Ballylanders just took their opportunities.
