U9 Football
Our u9 footballers finished up their 2021 football season with a blitz at Maguires field in UL Sunday 17th October against Mungret. Well done to all the boys and girls in this group who have come to training and travelled around the county playing in blitzes for their club. Their skill levels have improved hugely over the summer and that is down to the hard work and effort of the kids and the coaches. Huge thanks to the coaches and covid officers with this group who have given their time every week. Thanks also to our opposition today for travelling. Thanks too to all the parents for their support. Special mentions to Heather who organised certificates of participation for each of our players and Jason who organised the goodie bags. We look forward to seeing these players back on the pitches playing football for Ahane next year. Ahane abú!
Well done to our u9s who travelled to Newport Friday evening for a blitz and can be very proud of a great display of football. Many thanks too to our hosts, our coaches and covid officers and the parents who got the kids to Newport for the blitz. Ahane abú!
U6 Hurling
Our u6s had their final hurling session for 2021 on Monday well done to them all and thank you to the coaches and covid officers with this group!
Many thanks to Peter Nash who visited Ahane for a second week in a row for an excellent session with our U6 and U7 parents.
