U13 Hurling Medal Presentation

There was a great night in Ahane GAA club Sunday the 4th Dec with the presentation of the premier county winners medals to the Ahane U13s. The team enjoyed a trip to the Sports Factory in Corbally before gathering in the club to the sounds and smells of a fantastic winter BBQ sponsored by John Moloughney. There were refreshments for adults and children with video compendiums of the players over the years. There were well wishes videos from Tom and Dan Morrissey along with Gearoid Hegarty. Ciaran Barry who gave so generously of his time throughout the year as a team mentor gave out the medals. There were excellent speeches from Ahane Bord Na Nóg secretary, Linda O’Connor, team mentors Ollie Moran and Finbar McCarthy along with Ciaran Barry, individual and team photos on a really enjoyable community evening. Thanks to everyone who made the evening happen, to all parents and family members in attendance and especially the U13 playing group.
