Junior A Football
East Junior A Football League Semi Final: After a tough battle with Monaleen where the teams traded scores throughout the game, Monaleen’s first half goal secured the win for them. Full time Ahane 0-10 Monaleen 1-10.
Senior Hurling
East Senior Hurling League Semi Final: Sunday saw our Senior hurlers take on Cappamore. Cappamore were the stronger team and came away with the win. Full time Ahane 1-16 Cappamore 3-17.
U12 Hurling
Well done to our U12’s who played their first match of the year on Sunday away to Murroe.
U9 Hurling
Well done to our U9’s who hosted Na Piarsaigh on Friday evening! Great hurling done on a fabulous evening.
U11 Hurling
Well done to our U11’s who travelled to Hospital for a blitz. We fielded two teams and both got good results!
U13 Hurling
Well done to our U13 hurlers on winning their championship game v Doon on Monday!
Munster Hurling Final
Wishing Dan Morrissey, Tom Morrissey, Ciarán Barry and all the Limerick Senior Hurlers the very best of luck against Clare in the Munster Final.
Club Gear
As we play more matches and blitzes we would like to encourage all our young players to wear the club gear (Ahane jersey, shorts and socks) as they represent the club. Mick Mackey Cup
Members of the Ahane GAA Club committee attended the launch of the Mick Mackey Cup on Wednesday evening in the Castleoaks House Hotel. Limerick and Clare will be playing for the Mick Mackey Cup on June 5th in Thurles in the Munster Senior Hurling Final 2022. Fingers crossed it will be coming back to Limerick!
