Junior A Hurling
We played Blackrock in the Junior A Hurling Relegation Semi Final on Sunday in Fedamore in horrible conditions. We played with the wind for the first half and were up eight points to five at half time. However, Blackrock took more of their chance in the second half with the wind and won out on a score line of Ahane 0-09 Blackrock 2-15. We are now in the Relegation Final.
U7 Hurlers
The U7 hurlers finished their season with a trip to Mallow to take on Bride Rovers. The lads had great fun and of course made the obligatory trip to Supermacs on the way home. Well done to all the kids and thanks to the coaches giving their time and organising it!
U8 Hurling
Well done to our U8’s who played a blitz v Na Piarsaigh Friday evening. Great skills and determination on show!
U10 Hurling
Ahane U10’s played Newport, Clonlara, and Monaleen on Saturday morning in a very well-run blitz hosted by Newport. All our players are continuing to come on leaps and bounds, picking off great scores and defending as a team in all three games. Many thanks to all the parents for your great support and to our coaches.
U15 Footballers
Well done to our U15 footballers who on Sunday won their Div 2 shield final against Belville Gaels. Congratulations to the coaches too and thanks to all the supporters who’ve backed the team all season!
