U17 FOOTALL CO FINAL: There was heartbreak for the U17 footballers when they were beaten after extra time by Adare last Saturday morning in Rathkeale. In a match where Pallas and their Kilteely/Dromkeen team mates looked to be more dominant but could reflect it on the scoreboard. But Adare never gave up the chase and took the game to an extra twenty minutes. The sides were deadlocked on several occasions and at the finish of normal time the scoreline read 1-8 each, the goal coming from Charlie Holmes. The extra time proved a tense affair and when it looked as if was another day out was on the cards, Adare popped up with a winner at the death to seal victory by 1-13 to 1-12.
