The u14 footballers collected silverware at the weekend by winning the Mr Binman Division 2 football Shield competition. Killacolla went into the game as underdogs having lost 6-08 to 4-04 earlier in the season to their final opponents Newcastle West. Killacolla got off to a good start scoring 1-03 early on but NCW pegged it back just after the water break to 1-03 apiece. The NCW goal spurred the Killacolla players into action and scored a further 1-03 before the break to go in 2-06 to 1-03 ahead at the interval.
The weather was great and so was the football being played by both sets of players. Killacolla had the aid of a strong breeze in the second half and made the most of it kicking a further 2-04 before the final whistle including a spectacular 45 off the ground from Paul Murphy. Any intercounty player out there would have been proud of the kick which brought a great cheer from both sets of supporters. The game brought down the curtain on a delayed season and great credit is due to all players, parents and management for sticking with it and getting to the final.

The Rockhill A.F.C and Bruree GAA Lotto is the main source of finance for our club and helps us prepare all of our teams for each year with affiliation fees, insurance costs etc.

The costs are ever increasing and we are very grateful for the generous support of our lotto. The lotto has been going since 1993 (28 Years) and has given out huge amounts of prizemoney to winners over the years. The weekly draw will take place every Monday night. The weekly lotto results and jackpot can be viewed on our homepage at www.brureegaa.com , social media websites, our club app and at the premises mentioned below.

Tickets are priced at:

€2 each or 3 for €5 for weekly entry

Tickets can be bought from any of the Lotto’s regular sellers (with whom you can pay in advance for draws if you like).

The lotto can also be done online where we have packages available.
