BRUFF GAA CLUB NOTES
The Chaser
On Saturday night the 1st of February next, Bruff GAA brings the hugely popular show, “The Chaser” to the Charleville Park Hotel. The show was launched last week, by club and country star Sean Finn. The show promises to be an absolutely brilliant night’s entertainment for the entire family. Tickets are €20 each or €50 for 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children. Our main exhibitors on the night are ToCo Welding, Nagles Eurospar, Matt Daly Construction, Bruff Credit Union, Munster Astro, Wallace Pharmacy, Michael Houlihan Solicitors, Glynns Takeaway, and IAC Shannon. Dessie Fitzgerald
Bruff GAA would like to sincerely thank Dessie Fitzgerald for visiting the clubhouse last Saturday evening, where he gave a truly inspirational talk, on how he overcame the massive personal issues, he has faced over the last number of years. In a packed to capacity hall, with people from near and far in attendance, you could literally hear a pin drop, as Dessie recounted his recent life story, and the mechanisms he used to overcome his struggles. Many thanks to all those who helped to organise and publicise the event and to those who attended.
Lotto
There was no winner of last weeks Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 4, 19, 20 and 24. The Lucky Dip winners were €50 Shaney Ryan and €20 went to each of the following: Gregory Dempsey, Joshua & Fionn Ryan, Tony Clancy, Una & Brendan Mulvey, Teresa McEniry, Collette Butler, Ellen Purtill, Mike Lundon and Gretta Purcell.
