Another busy weekend of County Hurling Championship where some vital games were down for decision involving South teams, unfortunately both Kilmallock and Croom suffered in the Senior and Intermeiate Hurling Championship Semi Finals to doon and Newcastlewest respectively, Garryspillane retained their Senior Status for 2021 defeating Murroe Boher in the Relegation Final. In the Junior Championship Round 5, Castletow/.Ballyagran drew withr St Kierans to give them a place in Quarter Final this weekend when they meet Patrickswell, while Garryspillane and Staker Wallace lost out to Doon and Monagea respectively, both are now in the relegation Semi Finals, Garryspillane will play Old Christians this weekend Staker Wallace play rathkeale the following weekend.
A minor level there were wins for Bruff over Garryspillane and Blackrock over Cois Laoi Gaels in the County ‘A’ Championship Quartrt Finals, both are back in action in the Semi Finals on this Wednesday when Bruff play Killacolla Gaels in Kilbreedy and Blackrock play Cnoc Gaels in Knocklong, in two all South games at 6.30pm.
In the County Intermediate Football Relegation Semi Final Bruff scored a 3.10 to 0.10 over Monaleen.

This coming week, is another busy one on the Co Hurling and Football Championship scene, with vital games down for decision including three South teams in action, Ballylanders and Galbally are in Senior Football Chamionship QuarterFinal action, Ballylanders will meet Monaleen on Saturday while Galbally will play Oola on Wednesday evening. Castletown/Ballyagran will be hoping to advance to to Co Semi Final when they platy Patrickswell in th Co Quarter Final on Saturday
