WHO WILL JOIN PROVINCIAL WINNERS
IN ALL-IRELAND QUARTER-FINALS?
And then there were 12! Round one of the qualifiers has cut the field
of contenders for the GAA football All-Ireland title to 12 – the four
provincial winners (Derry, Dublin, Galway, Kerry) – plus the eight
counties featuring in the Round 2 qualifiers next weekend. Munster
have the highest representation (four) in the last 12, followed by
Connacht and Ulster with three each while Leinster have two.

have won eleven, drawn one and lost 17 of their 29 qualifiers.
*Limerick haven’t scored a goal against Cork in their last four
championship meetings. Ger Collins was the last Limerick man to
score a goal against Cork in a 2010 qualifier.
MAYO v KILDARE
They meet for the only the fourth time in championship history, their
previous clashes being in the 1935 All-Ireland semi-final, which
Kildare won by 2-6 to 0-7 in Croke Park, the 2016 All-Ireland
qualifiers (Round 3) when Mayo won by 2-17 to 0-14 in Castlebar and
the 2018 qualifiers when Kildare won by 0-21 to 0-19 in Newbridge.
