Three Limerick players on Hogan Stand Hurling  Team of the Week.

Congratulations to Sean Finn, Dan Morrissey and Seamus Flanagan on being selected on the Hogan Stand Hurling Team of the Week .

1. Stephen O’Keeffe (Waterford)

A bit of quick thinking from the adventurous Deise netminder helped to create the opening for Pauric Mahony’s goal.

2. Sean Finn (Limerick)

Came to his side’s rescue with a fantastic block on Seamus Harnedy right at the death of Saturday’s Pairc Ui Chaoimh epic.

3. Daithi Burke (Galway)

The latest in an ever growing list of commanding performances from the Tribesmen’s full-back.

4. Eoghan O’Donnell (Dublin)

O’Donnell and Dublin gained revenge for their league defeat earlier in the year when outclassing Offaly in Parnell Park.

5. Padraic Mannion (Galway)

Mannion and Galway booked their Leinster SHC final ticket in fine style with a nine-point defeat of Wexford.

6. Dan Morrissey (Limerick)

Took over from Declan Hannon at centre-back and was a key man for John Kiely’s side against the Rebels.

7. Shane Barrett (Dublin)

Barrett and his half-back line colleague Chris Crummey were both on target with four points against the Faithful County.

8. Darragh Fitzgibbon (Cork)

The midfielder raised four white flags as John Meyler’s side shared the spoils with the Treaty County.

9. Brendan Maher (Tipperary)

For the second week in-a-row Tipperary looked dead and buried but the experienced Maher helped to inspire their Lazarus-like comeback.

10. Pauric Mahony (Waterford)

Having missed the defeat to Clare last time out, Mahony underlined his worth to the Deise cause with 1-9 (1-4 from play) against the Premier County.

11. Joe Canning (Galway)

It was business as usual for Canning who registered 0-13 (8 frees and 2 sidelines) against the Model County.

12. Jason Forde (Tipperary)

Even when things weren’t going Tipperary’s way, Forde kept plugging away and his efforts were rewarded with a return of 1-13 (1-11 frees).

13. Seamus Flanagan (Limerick)

Along with Tom Morrissey, Flanagan was a constant thorn in the side of the Cork defence and he pilfered five points from play

14. Conor Cooney (Galway)

The Wexford defence couldn’t cope with Cooney and his full-forward line colleague Conor Whelan.

15. Patrick Horgan (Cork)

The Rebel County’s Mr. Reliable delivered 1-11 against the Treaty County.
